Book an initial assessment

A 60-minute assessment at Willow Lane, Larchford, with a gait video and a written plan. If your dog or cat has had surgery, we will ask your vet for a referral.

## Not sure where to start?

Most owners begin with an Initial assessment. In 60 minutes we watch your dog or cat move, film their gait and write a plan you can take home.

FAQ

## Questions owners often ask

Can't see your question here? Call us on 01632 960 418 or email hello@aspenmountainpetrehab.example.

### Do I need a referral from my vet?

No. You can book an Initial assessment yourself. If your dog or cat has had surgery, we ask your vet for their notes and keep them updated.

### What should I bring to the first session?

Your vet's notes if you have them, a lead or a carrier, and a few favourite treats. Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little wet.

### How many sessions will my dog need?

It depends on your dog and what you are working towards. Many post-surgical patients come for six sessions, and we review progress at every visit.

### Is rehab covered by pet insurance?

Many policies include physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. Check yours before you book, and we will give you the paperwork your insurer asks for.

### Do you see cats as well as dogs?

Yes. Priya leads our feline rehab, with quiet rooms, short sessions and plenty of time for your cat to settle.

### Is hydrotherapy safe for my dog?

We check every dog before they go in the water. The pool is warm, and a hydrotherapist stays with your dog for the whole session.
